As part of the SCB Julius Baer Advisory Series, SCB Julius Baer was pleased to welcome Michel Munz, Head of Investment Management, CIO Office, Member of the Investment Committee and Managing Director at Bank Julius Baer, to Bangkok for a series of engagements with clients and colleagues.
Under the theme “Crossroads & Catalysts: Investment Outlook Q4 2026”, Michel shared his perspectives on the structural forces shaping today’s investment landscape. Against a backdrop of geopolitical realignment, technological innovation, and evolving economic dynamics, the discussion explored the trends redefining global markets and the opportunities emerging from a rapidly changing world.
Drawing on nearly three decades of investment experience and his role on Julius Baer’s Investment Committee, Michel highlighted the enduring importance of strategic asset allocation, diversification, and disciplined long-term investing. He underscored that successful wealth creation is often driven not by reacting to short-term market movements, but by maintaining conviction through changing market cycles.
Michel also spent time with clients and colleagues at our Bangkok office, exchanging views on market developments, portfolio considerations, and long-term investment themes. These interactions provided a valuable opportunity to bring global perspectives closer to the local conversation.
In a world defined by constant change, access to trusted expertise, informed perspectives, and thoughtful dialogue remains invaluable when making long-term financial decisions. Through the SCB Julius Baer Advisory Series, we continue to bring global perspectives closer to our clients, fostering meaningful conversations that help shape informed decisions and enduring wealth strategies for generations to come.
